High Success IVF Rate in India - Aveya IVF

Amongst the several techniques available to assist people who have fertility problems in India, In Vitro Fertilisation or IVF is gaining popularity as a safe and successful alternative to natural pregnancy.

In Vitro fertilization means that an egg is removed from the ovaries of women and fertilized artificially with the sperm inside a laboratory. The woman’s womb then receives the fertilized egg, called an embryo, to grow and develop.

IVF is a complex, multifaceted procedure that involves a wide range of medications and procedures. A number of factors combine to play an important role in the success of the treatment.

All matters considered, it is a misleading claim that IVF can deliver a high success IVF rate under any treatment conditions. It has been widely observed that the overall success rate with IVF hovers around the 30 percent to 40 percent mark.

A number of factors, however, can work together to contribute to the overall success of the treatment cycle. Below we will discuss some of these factors.

  • The older you get, your age begins to get into an inverse relationship with the quality of egg and the embryo, negatively affecting the success of the IVF treatment. A study has shown that live birth rates are generally 50 percent in women aged 35 and approximately 25 percent in women aged 40 to 42 years.

  • In some cases, it is by genetically driven factors that the success potential for your eggs to undergo maturation, successful fertilization and subsequent progression to good quality embryos is determined.

  • When there is too much production of estrogen, it has undesirable effects on the granulosa cell activity, follicle growth and development, egg maturation, fertilization potential and subsequent embryo growth., thereby reducing the overall success rate of the IVF treatment.

  • If the stimulation is prolonged to a state where the follicles are measuring more than 25 to 30 mm in size then the eggs may turn out to be over mature which has a negative effect on the healthy oocyte yield and therefore on the success of the IVF cycle.

  • The success of the IVF treatment is also affected when the stimulation is prolonged to a state where the follicles are measuring more than 25 to 30mm in size then the eggs may turn out to be over mature which has a negative effect on the healthy oocyte yield.

  • As per the results of several research studies, it has been confirmed that obesity has strongly negative effects on your chances of success in conceiving with IVF treatment.
